Shipping and Production Information
This page provides shipping and production information for Academic Apparel orders. Most choir robes and judicial gowns are made to order in the United States, so customers should allow time for both production and shipping.
Quick Shipping & Production Summary
- Choir Robes: We recommend allowing approximately 12 weeks for production.
- Judicial Gowns: We recommend allowing approximately 12 weeks for production..
- We often complete orders sooner, but busy seasons, fabric availability, order size, and customization can affect production time.
- We normally ship orders through UPS.
- Expedited UPS shipping may reduce transit time, but it does not reduce manufacturing time.
- If you have a firm deadline, please tell us when placing your order.
Production Time
We recommend allowing approximately 12 weeks for made-to-order choir robes and judicial gowns.
Many orders take less time. Occasionally, production may take longer depending on the time of year, our current workload, fabric availability, order size, and customization requirements.
Production begins once we have your complete order and all necessary information, including sizes, colors, fabrics, quantities, and customization details.
Shipping
We normally ship through UPS.
Transit time varies by destination and service level. Expedited UPS services may be available when faster shipping is needed.
Please remember that expedited shipping reduces shipping time only. It does not shorten the time required to manufacture a made-to-order garment.
Quick Ship Options
When a customer has a very short deadline, we may be able to provide Quick Ship stock robes.
Stock robes can ship sooner because they do not require normal custom production, but they offer fewer choices in fabric, color, sizing, construction, and customization.
If your deadline is too short for a normal custom order, contact us and we can discuss the available options.
